Guidelines for Submitting Potential Paranormal Evidence for Analysis
Thank you for contacting the San Diego Paranormal Research Society. We receive a high volume of evidence review requests on a weekly basis. Although we'd like to, we can't get back to everyone who contacts us mainly due to time constraints and other obligations we have. With this said, those that are serious about us reviewing a potential piece of paranormal evidence should feel free to reach out to us. If you'd like us to review a photograph, video, or audio clip, please contact team directors at [email protected] and [email protected]. Please adhere to the following instructions.
Please Read the Following: For those who are convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that their evidence is absolutely "paranormal," we, of course, invite you to share it with us. If you fall into this category and would like us to review your findings, we do ask you ahead of time if you're open to potentially hearing differing opinions and/or natural explanations regarding what you send us, if there are any. In many cases, there are logical and natural (non-paranormal) explanations. In other words, are you open to us potentially finding another reason/explanation for the alleged phenomena? If not (and that is okay), there is really no need for us to review. The reason for this is that we don't have the extra time to engage in an honest debate if that makes sense. We mean this with all sincerity; we're not trying to sound harsh as we devote our free time to analyzing what’s sent to us.
Please answer the following:
Also, keep in mind that we have to go by what is sent to us, including the supporting material we ask for. We ask for the following additional information as it helps us further analyze what is sent to us. We’re automatically at a disadvantage since we were not physically present in the location at the time you captured your photograph(s), recorded video file(s), or audio file(s). Thus, this additional information helps us out a lot.
Furthermore, paranormal activity may occur at a location regardless of what’s sent to us. In other words, if we analyze what you send us and conclude that there’s a logical explanation, that doesn’t mean that paranormal activity isn’t present on your premises. It just means that it’s not evident in the photograph(s), video(s) and/or audio file(s) you send us.

Please answer the following:
- Are you 100% convinced that paranormal activity is present in what you’re sending us to review?
- If the answer to question #1 is “yes,” are you open to us disclosing other possible explanations that have nothing to do with the paranormal?
- If the answer to question #2 is “no,” then there is no need to proceed further. (Again, see above for our reasoning on this)
Also, keep in mind that we have to go by what is sent to us, including the supporting material we ask for.
