Regarding Anomalous Photographs
As of today, there is no scientific proof of ghost or spirit existence. Thus, the following photographs are showcased for interest and their potential for being anomalous. As with other methodology analysis, it is imperative to apply skepticism and a meticulous eye when examining alleged spirit photography. Photographic documentation of spirit phenomena is rare; however, there are some compelling examples collected over several years.
RMS Queen Mary - Bridge Apparition
RMS Queen Mary - Shadow Person - Former First and Third Class Pool
This shadow person phenomenon was captured by Rachel Ashlemann during a tour of the pool. What's interesting about this photograph is its close resemblance to what shadow people look like when visually spotted. The former first and third class pool is known for its shadow person phenomena especially on the upper port and starboard sides. Nicole Strickland has conducted several case studies of the pool and has thus, visually seen numerous shadow phenomena out of her peripheral vision.

RMS Queen Mary - Churchill Exhibit
Nicole and fellow Clan Mary ship enthusiasts were among the first group of individuals to visit the famed Churchill exhibit, which honors Prime Minister Winston Churchill and his war cabinet. During WWII, M Deck was reserved for the prime minister and his entire entourage. Churchill was instrumental in increasing the Queen Mary's troop capacity during the war. In this photograph, you will see a dark mass of energy forming in front of one of the exhibits. |
RMS Queen Mary - Mauretania Room - Apparition
This photograph - courtesy of Tony Ashlin - shows a presumably male apparition adorned in a fedora and long coat or suit. This anomaly was captured during the Paranormal Shipwalk tour in the Mauretania Room. Interestingly, a ghostly specter matching these physical attributes has been seen in other areas of the ship. |
